👾 Artificial Intelligence (AI)

AI is the ability of computers and machines to imitate human-like behavior and intelligence, allowing them to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence. For example, AI can be used to recognize speech, identify objects in images, and even play games like chess and Go.

🌍 No Introduction Required on Internet today

ChatGPT-3 is a state-of-the-art language model developed by OpenAI, based on the GPT-3 architecture. It is designed to understand natural language and generate human-like responses to a wide range of queries and prompts. With 175 billion parameters, it is currently the largest and most powerful language model in existence, capable of performing a wide range of natural language processing tasks, such as language translation, question-answering, text completion, summarization, and much more.

🛩️ Journey of the model

The model behind the chatGPT is appreciated due to its long hold journey and this is how it goes.

My friend recently wrote a blog on providing the prompts to the chatGPT and how he got the accurate information if the tool is used wisely. here is a link to get more context of it and understand how wisely we can use chatGPT for our use.

👀 Alternatives / What is the major differences?

BERT / GPT3

The major difference between the BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) and GPT-3 (Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3) models is their architecture and intended use case.

BERT is a bidirectional model that is trained to understand the context of a given text input. It is designed for tasks such as question-answering, text classification, and named entity recognition, where it needs to encode the meaning of a given text and generate a relevant output.

On the other hand, GPT-3 is a generative model that is trained to generate text based on the given input prompt. It is designed for tasks such as text completion, text generation, and language translation, where it needs to generate coherent and contextually appropriate text based on the given input.

In terms of size, GPT-3 is much larger than BERT, with 175 billion parameters compared to BERT’s largest version, which has 340 million parameters.

Overall, while both models use the Transformer architecture and are pre-trained on large amounts of data, they are optimized for different tasks and use cases

😎 ChatGPT3/ ChatGPT4 (Recent Launch)

ChatGPT3 is opensource product and has a knowledge cutoff date as Sept, 2022. where as microsoft heavily invested in the OpenAI company to compete with Google Search by introducing Bing with ChatGPT4. I was able to make out the difference by surely googling about it and then to validate it, I asked for a prompt to both chatGPT3 and latest bing chat and interesting questions whose responses have been captured below and the snapshot are shown to support the same.

Proud Indian Mathematician

Srinivasa Ramanujan

My Promp:
How Srinivasa Ramanujan would want Indians to know about him?

ChatGPT Response

Srinivasa Ramanujan was a brilliant Indian mathematician who made significant contributions to the field of mathematics, especially in the area of number theory. Ramanujan’s work was highly influential in the development of modern mathematical theories, and he is considered one of the most brilliant minds in the history of mathematics.

If Ramanujan were alive today, it is likely that he would want Indians to know about his contributions to mathematics and his incredible intellect. He might also want Indians to appreciate the importance of pursuing education and intellectual pursuits, and to value the pursuit of knowledge and the pursuit of truth.

Ramanujan was a self-taught mathematician who struggled to gain recognition for his work during his lifetime. He faced many challenges, including poverty and poor health, but he persisted in his studies and eventually achieved worldwide recognition for his contributions to mathematics.

It is likely that Ramanujan would want Indians to see him as an example of the power of perseverance and the importance of following one’s passions, even in the face of adversity. He might also want to inspire future generations of Indian mathematicians and scientists to pursue their dreams and to make their own contributions to the world of knowledge.
